My City – Auckland – Cyber-Smart – Google Maps

Task Description:

Today for cyber-smart, I did a google map about landmarks in my city, Auckland. I have done ten landmarks, as to where you could go in Auckland if you ever visit. Have you ever been to one of these places? My highlight of this task was finding my favourite places I go to, and my low light was trying to find if it was the right place, and images that are close to what kind of place it is. If you haven’t come to Auckland or if you plan on coming to Auckland, these are definitely places you should go to. This is coming from a person who’s been to all these places, hope you enjoy!

Terrific Transformations

Task Description: For today’s Math session, we had to do this task of using reflection, rotation and translation. My highlight of the task was learning more about symmetry, and finding the mirror kind of shaped version of the shape. I didn’t have a low light for this task, I found this task completely ok to do. I hope to do more like this, so I can learn more!

Sweet Nets

Task Description: For today’s Math session, we had a new maths task to do. That task was about nets, sort of like connecting pieces to make a box. I found this sort of hard to do because I had to sort of think that the structure was laid out in front of me and try to put it together to make it look like a box. Overall, I have completed both the task and the challenge for the task.

Working Collabortively in a Doc

Swaimah & Vika – Working Collabortively in a Doc

Task Description:

For the last session of the day, we had cyber-smart. For this task, we had to buddy up with someone to do it. I had Swaimah for my partner, and we worked on this task together. For this task we had to share the google doc, and play a few games of tic tac toe. After that we then had to write a story word for word with each other. My favourite part of this task was having to write a story with one word from each other. I hope to do a task like this again.

Love’s 3D Shapes

Task Description:

For today’s math, we had to name 3D shapes. We then had to answers some questions about 3D shapes, and I found out some facts about 3D shapes. We had a colour where we had to find how many numbers of vertices, edges and faces, there were on each 3D shape. And for the last slide we had to make our own 3D Shape net.

Dawn Raid 5

Task Description:

For this task, we had to complete, it was the last piece of the novel and we had to answer some questions about the last piece of the novel. We then had to create a task at the end of the slides. I chose the two easiest ones, which were a judge card, and retelling the story of the Dawn Raid in a creative way. I hope you enjoy going through my slides.

Angles

Task Description: For this task, I had to Identify how many degrees are in various angles and lines. I found this very easy to do. This is my poster underneath for the last task I had to do, we had to create a poster of an angle that could be east to explain for a year four. I hope you enjoy going through this.
